hey all!! Miss ya

Hi all,
Had a back surgery in early January and have been out of action for a bit. Will be fine, but missed alot of late season  . My Doc says I will be as good as new by next September. God has funny ways of helping. I just gained access to 11 acres in Zone 36 that belongs to my sons college buddy's dad. In Boonton area just on the 36 border. They just bought it. (tax write off). Never hunted before. Surrounded by Wildcat Ridge state land to the west and private land on other sides. My friends dad is asking his neighbors if they mind if I hunt or at least recover from their adjacent properties should the need arise. So far it looks real good as I have permission to recover on one but not actually set up stands. Anyway I missed talking with you all and hope your season was great!! I will post as I know more. I will try a late winter bow hunt on my buddy's farm where I got my 8 pt this week (Tues, Wedns and Thurs) and hope to put a doe in the freezer.
Peace out all

Glad to hear that the surgery is over and done with and that you are on the up side of recovery. Was wondering what happened to you. Congratulations on the new piece and best of luck with it.
