I own one and have fun shooting it, but I would need alot of practice to trust myself to go out and hunt with it.One day I will take a deer with the recurve

when first starting off with any trad bows, try as many as you can before buying anyone.... The biggest problem is newbies over bow themselves... Start out with a bow in the 40-45 pounds at first, then move up in weight if you want a heavier draw weight....

what is the draw weight at Your draw length? What arrows are you shooting? If you need any help just post and I should be able to help you out. I waited 1 year before hunting with my long bow. All I hunt with is long bows, right now I have 2 a original 54" Shrew & My ROP bow (Red Oak Pyramid bow). I'm also about to start making another one for me when I'm done with the 2 I'm making for Friends.

a few years back i kept talking about recurve hunting in my youth. my girl went out and got me a PSE impala 50#. nice bow i have been shooting it during the early seasons. its a blast i hope to score a nice one with it this year on video.
Take your video camera with you, make the hunt last forever.

The South Jersey Pines contain the oldest deer population within the state (fact).

You are going to go nuts after you tag your first deer with a trad bow. All new first too, First deer, first buck, first out of velvet, ect.
