I have been going to the Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous aka ETAR aka Denton Hill since 2004. My son, his wife and their son will also be there for their 3rd year. We love it!

What a great gathering of traditional archers of all stripes and oh those vendors! We have a blast.

See you on the courses!

No, this is the event where the Eagle Eye Shoot Off takes place. People pay to qualify and I believe half of the pot goes to the winner. It's usually between $1,100 and $1,400 when I've been there. You can qualify with any arrow (traditional bow, of course) but you can only win with a wood arrow.

There are all types of folks there and it's always a great time.

We also head on over to Coudersport for the Dam Show on Saturday evening. That's a nice little festival with good music and food.

This thread has been really quiet -- through a couple of years. I am already psyched for leaving for Denton Hill 2013 next week. I have been going since 2004 and I really enjoy it despite the tornados, storms, floods, etc. I have made friends through the years that I only see at Denton Hill and some of them live right here in New Jersey. :P

Hope to see them all again this year.
