Fellow UBNJ Members,

http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2008/Bills ... 976_I1.PDF

Both bills were recommended out of Committee favorably.

The next step is to contact Senate President Richard Codey and request that he schedule them for a full Senate vote.

His contact info:

Senator Richard Codey

Thank YOU to all that called and voiced your support for these bills.

Yes, good news. Now must be posted for a vote in the Assembly and Senate, and if passed in both...to the Governors desk for a signature.

Stay tuned as the NJOA will be moving to get these bills heard on the Assembly and Senate floor. We will need YOUR help to help yourself and fellow sportsmen around the state.

Your work is not done. Give the Senators a call today and thank them for their vote.

Bateman voted against Sunday bowhunt. Perhaps you can voice your displeasure.

This is how you make friendly inroads with legislators.

Make the calls.

This was a "team effort" by members of the NJOA, Federation and UBNJ. Also others attended and showed their support. Thank you to ALL!!   So far, both bills have been approved by the committee and will still have to be voted on if, and when, they are brought back up. Was nice to see the unity efforts that went into this. The parameter bill will most likely be handled first.

dont thrust your team effort as others didnt want to work as a team on other issues ;)

this was a UBNJ sponsored bill that was supported by the federation and the NJOA get it right as paul said on njh put UBNJ first on your list not list and we know it was put last on purpose...we as BOW hunters know what bill will pass first we have been working on sunday BOW hunting for over 10 yrs
