When I am ready to go hunting and need to buy a shotgun does anyone know how much an average youth shotgun cost? Do you recomend any spefic shotgun? Where should I buy it? Does anyone know what is the process of buying a shotgun legally?

In New Jersey you will need a FID (firearms ID) card to purchase any firearm. To obtain one you need to be 18 (21 for a pistol permit).

Does your Mom / Dad have a FID?

I strongly suggest being mentored by someone in your family who is gun savvy and can teach you proper handling and safety. All tools (firearms included) can be very dangerous if handled improperly.
