Thanks JerseyHunter. I always want to snell my hooks, have somebody show me, master it, then don't use it for months and when I am ready to tie them again, I've forgotten how. Great links :thumbsup:

I don't own this exact tool from Orvis but a similar one made of plastic (non Orvis). I use it to tie blood knots quickly when making custom fly rod tippits. I can make them by hand but the tool makes it much quicker and I make errors much less frequently.
