I think the most important knot for a fisherman to know is the Palomar.
This is great for your swivel or directly to the hook or lure.

That is my trusty knot.

Also it's the preferred knot when tying with power pro

I was just messing around with that one It is not to hard to do

with braided line its the best knot to use

this is one of the best knots to use, i use it mostly for worm and jig fishing when i need a strong knot for hard hook sets.

if you never tied this knot, you should learn it and apply it to your fishing
