whos up for a goose hunt

Postby buckhunter1 » Sat Dec 20, 2008 1:20 pm

just outback loading some firewood, and happened to see a flock of about 50 canadas drop into a cut bean field behind my house. i have never goose hunted in my life. i was wondering if any of u more experienced waterfowlers could give me some pointers, or even come down and hunt these geese. they are piling in to that field now.

well if u invite hetley, a gun and shells.

prolly something to hide in. we used to call them into fields in hillsborough and hide in the hedgerows. those lying down blinds are expensive.

well frank u need camo, gun, shells 3 or 3 1/2 inch bb's . if u dont have a layout blind we could find hedgerows to hide in. or if you have that camo burlap you could cover yourselves wih that. if those geese are hitting that field find out exactly where there landing. we will set up by that and have to do basically no calling. let me know i tink we will have a goodtime. oh yeah if you have a gun thats not shiney that would be best,if not its cool.
