Your hunting set-up

Postby 10BOWS » Sat Aug 30, 2008 6:05 pm

What set-up you guys hunting with.Or should I say equipment.I mean all..bow etc.,treestand/blind, to the camo you wear.

I hunt with a Black Widow PSA 45#,2016 GG with a 125 Stinger on the end. With this bow/wgt. I can shoot accurately for long periods and during the winter months. Hunted from groundblinds in the past but have had great success past few yrs. from a hang-on stand.Dont believe the need for any particular camo as long as your still and scent free. For a knife I like my D.H. Russell Grohman belt knife.Good carbon steel,gets/stays sharp.

Whats your set-up?!!

lets see....

mathews LX 70# draw
Beman MFX's 340's 29" with blazer vanes
Rage 2 blade heads

treestands: too many. mostly lock-ons. i also use a cheap steel climber.

knife i use is an outdoor edge big game skinner. there is no better knife IMO.

camo: depends on where i am hunting, but for late season (after the leaves have fallen) i like to wear ASAT camo when hunting in open trees.
I'd rather be huntin'
