New toy for this season

I baught this gun to try a slug gun out this coming six day, its a Mossberg 500r came with slug barrel with scope and smooth bore barrel it is a nice light pump , it takes 2 3/4 and 3" rounds i baught it at Dicks sporting goods for $279.99 I thought that was a great price. I also so baught 2 boxes of Hornady SST slugs for it. Its just another tool to miss deer with :P lol

what dick's did you buy it at?

i just sold one and two boxes of SST's to a gentleman yesterday. that would be too weird.

you may get better performance with Lightfield Slugs cause that shotgun doesn't have a fast twist that the Hornady SSTs kind of like, also get rid of that scope, put a better one on

I'll look into getting a better scope for it, ill also try those slugs you were talking about. Any sugestions on a scope ? thanks again

I love the Leupold VX-II, but if your on a budget look into the Bushell Trophy scopes, either one in 3-9x40

Thanks again man i bought the Lightfield Slugs they are he 1 1/4 oz slug :o man i hate to be that deer :) ill let ya know how it sites in when i get a new scope. thanks
