So there I was cutting some marble tile outside of a condo complex in Lincoln Park...
I look up from my work and there struts by a huge ringneck!
I was bugged out! I can't make a pheasant call so I gobbled and clucked a bit like a turkey... It stared at me at walked off. Huh!
I start cutting again and as soon as I do it turns around and runs up the driveway... starts looking at me all half-cocked and then turns away again.
I walked up to within 10 feet of the bird and it didn't even flinch. Not until I got my buddy Ralph who was working with me to check out the bird did it get panicked. It took flight straight up pheasant-style and went right over the building.
So strange to see such a cool looking animal in a condo-camp...
Only in New Jersey!
