Get-Em-Locked Up, from PA. I walked around Harrisburg last year on a mission to buy a good easy beginner call. After walking by and listening to Billy use his call I had to stop in and talk. Twenty minutes later I walked away with a great, easy to blow call that I've been told by a goose calling judge sounds great.( the call not me). Looking forward to the Sept season.
I started with the Primos Big Easy flute.

XX78, what zinks calls do you use? I am looking into getting a zinks money maker goose call. I've only heard great things about them so I figure why not. I'm pretty good with calling...at least I think I am.

The best call is one you can use. It depends on you the amount of air you have & you can control. Not to many people can use a call like the next guy. Like kids really can't work production calls because they have little back pressure so they run out of air before the break over.
best to try other people's calls (if they'LL) let you) until you find one that you can hit multi notes & breaks .
IMO stay away from overpriced insert calls because they are ALL the same with bore size & degree pitch of soundboard. they are made fore the masses one size fits all.
One of the brands mentioned above only makes two different calls. but market over 1/2 doz at different prices for the same call. It's all in the marketing LOL
