Besides the NJH Towershoot this where I shot 3 pheasants (3 short of the limit), small game was pretty much a bust for me in Jersey this year. I got 1 hen bird on a non-stocking day in December and a woodcock in the beginning of November. This was probably my worst year of hunting for me overall since my 2nd year when I harvested nothing. But that is hunting.
As a side note. No deer either.

mike good luck this year ,things will turn out better

Mike, sorry to hear things didn't turn out as well for you, this year. Hope you have a much better year next season. Bet your daughter is keeping you pretty busy, right now. Better days are ahead for sure!!
