For me I use one of two.

H&R Ultra Deleuxe single shot in 20ga., with Hornady SSTs 2-3/4", topped off with a Leupold VX-II in 3-9x40, this shotgun is a track driver, and a pleasure to shoot

The other would be my Remington 11-87 SPS, 12ga., with Winchester Supremes Golds 2-3/4", also topped off with a Leupold VX-II 3-9x40

I have an 11-87 I use with buckshot sometimes.

My shotgun is an 870 remington express pump. I use the bird barrel with buckshot and the 23" slug barrel with coppersolids. Havent taken a deer yet though.

I really like the H&R 20ga slug gun...I told my dad once I can get my own gun thats the first I will get with probably a 3x9 scope on it..have a 3x9 on my .308 bolt action and man that thing is awesome!

Used to be a Winchester 1300 with Winchester Slugs.

Now it is a Remington 870 with Remington Sabots.

rem 1100 xfull choke with rem 000 buck, 870 exp. with mod choke with a rem 000 followed by 2 rem 00 buck ( the 1st shot usually is the only 1 taken), mossberg 500 slugster with 1 oz fed. premiums :thumbsup:

To be honest I use the cheapest ammo on the market. Winchester 2 3/4 1oz. slugs at 3 dollars a box. I have full confidence out to 100 yards with them in the old beat up Mosseburg. they also shoot tight groups out of the other slug guns so I can't complain. I have stockpiled enough to last the next 10 years too, so I wont be changeing any time soon :lol:

I use Breneke slugs when sitting,and when we are runun n gunum them its Federal 00 cant wait
