Never use a shotgun for deer...it falls at the same time as muzzy and I use that instead.

when hunting the fields or open hardwoods i use my mossberg 500 with 2 3/4 coopersolids.
when in the white cedar i use my other moss. 500 with lead 00buck, no plating.

i use the exact same set up ,gun and bullets as joe. h&r. deer drives is usually my winchester 1200, but this year will be the benelli sbe 2
