You'll need to know your target and beyond the beyond from the sounds of it.
THAT is THE RULE FOR ANY WEAPON (and not just in hunting situations).......Period
As for the "hundred yard" thing......
Howard Hill is Documented killing game @ OVER 100 yards with a LONG BOW.......
So does that make a Long Bow a one hundred yard plus weapon???
Certainly NOT........NOR is the Stryker a 100 yard + weapon either.........
Shooting targets longer is "one thing"
living moving animals is quite another one...... and publicly stating otherwise is only asking for mistakes to be made that SHOULD be avoided
IMO..........
I shoot targets almost daily with a recurve past 60 yards.......but WOULD NOT shoot live animal anywhere near that range, with one..........nor would most responsible ethical hunters.....targets rarely move and NEVER end up wounded dying a terrible death.......
