OH, get over yourself Dubs.  You guys did NOT prove your case simply because you did NOT have any good valid reason to NOT include crossbows. Just because you don't want them is NOT good enough, PERIOD!!!!

You guys can "cry foul" and throw "accusations" out there, but in the end it isn't worth a "hill of beans". Maybe a good lesson can be learned, here. When you need certain people to "listen to you", try to NOT piss them off!! :P

I attended the meeting. The Council's vote was UNANIMOUS!!

Was a great day and well worth the long drive down and back!!

How does it feel to ruin a season of hunting and you don't even hunt? I think stuie is looking for a partner.

yesterday was a sad day for bowhunters. Especially the guys that hunt public land. I feel sorry for them. The state wants to increase hunter participation, but what will happen is guys will get tired of not seeing deer, crowded WMAs and QUIT. So what does that leave us with. The vertical bowhunters will be gone. Good going UXBNJ, out of state instigators, ATA and NJ F&G. Will you apologize in 5 years when this all happens, or will you crawl in your holes and hope nobody remembers who brought this on? I will be sure to remind them. Be careful what you wish for people.

This fighting amongst ourselves about something like this, will only help the antis. Anything that brings more hunters into the fold, and on our side voting wise, is a help. I also wonder just how many can afford a new crossbow in this economy? They seem to start at about $400 and go up from there.

Yep, sign up Dubs. YOU guys gave the ANTIs the Xgun BS and NOW you're worried about the 150' bill? We tried to warn you. All the fears that was thrown out there has come back to bite you on the butt. ALL hunters should stick together and support each other in their method of hunting, fishing, ect. ONLY way to have a larger voice than the ANTIs.

Comical K... Not really it's quite sad. So are you hunting private or public this year? Oh that's right you won't personal experience the effects. The crusade is over... whatever will you do now. Hey I heard some people are thinking about bringing dynamite fishing to NJ. (UDFA) You in. I heard they need a Secretary. I think you are the right person for the job.
