sounds good guys but a little far for me, anyone know a butcher in the morris county area

There is that guy Tink in Flanders. He vacuum packs and freezes everything. The last time I brought him a deer it took over a week for him to turn it around.

I worked for Jimmy for seven or eight years. I only stopped because I moved to Hillsborough.
He and the rest of the guys and gals( wrapping the meat) do a great job. The price is very fair for the high quality of work. The only times I see a back up on returning deer is around the Holidays. Jimmy gets very busy around Thanksgiving and Christmas. So you might have to wait a few days more. I've seen the same people coming back for many years. That alone speaks volumes for the job they do. All the meat is well marked, put in plastic bags and returned in plastic milk boxes or heavy cardboard boxes. I still take all my deer there and always will. Try him once and see for yourself.

I tried Janeks this year after Lutzs Pork Store in Union stopped processing deer. After having Jimmy make up smoked keilbasa, hotdogs and bologna I couldn't be happier. I even had him make up 50 lbs. of keilbasa for our venison dinner and everyone raved about it. I butcher all my own deer and bring them boned out venison for processing.
Top quality, delicious, fast turn around and everyone at the store couldn't be more helpfu. It's about a 45 minute drive for me, but well worth the trip and I am looking forward to making the trip in September.

I have used Jimmy for quite some time now, I am friends with his cousin who refered me to Jimmy, and he does a excellent job, the custom things he does like kielbasa, hot dogs etc are out of this world, he will also make custom items if you like to butcher or quater and just bring him the meat, but remember he needs the metal tag with the meat
