Never been there, but from what Im hearing from others that they're NOT "The Best Archery Pro Shop In New Jersey". That whole not letting you shoot a bow before purchase is a deal breaker in my eyes. When you're purchasing a bow and people tell you shoot them all and then make your decision, just don't do it there cause you're not allowed :banghead: :banghead: Sorry but this is bad business in my eyes.

If they don't want you to shoot NEW bows just have a one of each model for test drive purposes. This is what the sportsman center does.

Good OLD Dubs!!
One can, and do, shoot bows there. There is a test range. One cannot just take bows off the rack and go around the store with it. Quite a bit different.

I didn't start this thread, but I know they are one of the best, if not the best, in this area. Being a family owned business for m/t 50 yrs is proof enough. I've been down there enough times to see how busy they are with repeat customers. I don't have to promote their business. It is virtually impossible to please everyone, for one reason or another, but all have the right to their opinions.

K, I really don't know how to reply to this and keep it civil. Read my post again and see if you understand what I wrote, because your reply made absolutely no sense in regards to mine. Face it K, Targeteers is doing there customers an injustice by not letting them try bows out. We all know you have a relationship with them. Lets leave it at that. :ugeek:

Relationship? Now, that's really stretching it!! If there is such an "injustice" as you "claim", how is it they are always busy and have been taking care of many bowhunters for so many years?

I for one disagree and would never step foot in that "pro shop" again. I came in there once asking to see a Ross and they laughed and said Ross is out of business. The guy gave me attitude because he wanted to show me mathews and what not. (They had one ross left) The second time I went in there looking for a cable stop for the ross I got somewhere else they proceeded to rag on me because I bought a ross.

Not to mention what they did to someone else I know I'd rather not even get into that but they sold him a bow that didn't fit him instead of ordering the right size just to make a sale. LAME in my book.

Sorry guys...

Dave, sorry you were not satisfied. They do sell Ross bows, also. I know most of the customers don't go on computers. Reputation does go beyond the PC realm. Guess even the best place will have some differences of opinions. Wonder if any other archery shops have a 100% approval? Course it would depend on just how many customers they deal with on a regular basis. Seems like a very tall order, as with any business. Just for the record, doesn't matter to me who uses which archery shop. Main thing is, as long as you're satisfied with your equipment. is what counts.
