During the spring turkey season I wanted to upgrade my Mossberg 835 which I purchased 11 plus years ago. Presently it has the factory turkey choke, white bead sight, I'm using Winchester Supremes HV, 3.5", 2oz., #5 with decent results. So I did weeks of researching the many turkey chokes out there on the market and most are really good. But I kept reading from other hunters around the nation about INDIAN CREEK turkey chokes, with the combonation of using HeviShot-13. Hunters are claming of getting fantasic patterns, placing 175 or more pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards. So I called both Indian Creek and HeviShot Ammo, both sides where super nice and helpful. So I went on and purchased the Indian Creek choke tube, they told me to use the HeviShot-13, 3.5", 2-1/4oz., #6. HeviShot also informed me to use the same ammo over there 1-3/4oz. I'm also replacing the white bead sight with front/rear fiber optic sights.
If your in the market for a new turkey choke look into INDIAN CREEK and HeviShot-13 ammo
