Gift for Buddy.. any good?

My buddy's birthday is coming up and has been asking for a deer horn skinner and was just wondering what people thought about the Damascus Deer Horn Skinner? Anyone use this or know anything about it? Just for reference found it at http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=745112 and I thought $40 was pretty damn good
