I brought my first trail cam this summer, I have it out in Illinois, it's the Moultrie I-40, from what I have read, dollar for dollar it is one of the better ones out there, I will see this November

I prefer homebrews as my main cameras

I usually back them up with a cheap wildview in the trees somewhere near by and pointing in their direction..
I've never had one stolen , but if I do..I'll know where to go and get it back

My favorite cams are the Stealth Cam 1.3 and 2.0..Right now i have 15 of them, and between the other 3 guys i hunt with we have about 30 total..We have been using them for years and never had a problem with them..They discontinued them, so if you want to buy them you have to search the internet for them..Highly recommended though!

I'm with little Lou...the older stealth cam digital are the best. Although some of My Moultries work well also. Bottom line if you run cameras in NJ you should not spend more than a $100 bucks on any camera. Its just not worth it! Cuddieback is insane with those prices. It may be a good camera, but what if it happens to disappears off the tree. I could buy 4 stealths for that and get 4x's the pics!! Quantity not quality when it comes to trail cameras.

But whatever you do DON't buy the Wildview, the battery life sucks!!! the only good quality about a Wildview is that it's sucks soooo bad that most people won't even steal the POS.
