I really really wanna get my pup trained for pheasent...i want her to be able to point and flush the birds like a champ...she has it in her....love chasing the ball and catching and retrieving the ball....pointing at the ball...just wish that damn ball was a bird lol...i live in the south jersey gloucester county area if anyone knows of any trainers around here let me know....i don't have a whole lot of money so hopefully if anyone knows someone who does it for a fair price they can let me know thanks!!

We all make mistakes both with and without trainers. Dog might be a natural and the birds is what a dog needs and they will learn on there own if they are from good hunting stock. Obediance is first and thats what you should be working on and that can be done at home in many ways with yard work and then introduction into the field with birds. Make it fun and don't expect to much from a pup. Plenty of good books out there and spend the time with the dog is key, your the alfa dog remember they are a pack animal they listen to you not the other way around.
