Hunter's Navhda Test Results 9/27/08

Postby njstrutz » Sat Sep 27, 2008 5:52 pm

Today my pup Hunter participated in the Rock Tavern chapter of NAVHDA for his Natural Abilty test and I'm proud to say we had a awesome day with a great group of people.

First and foremost i would like to thank Raymond Santiago for helping me in the training of my dog along with the rock tavern chapters training clinic and some awesome people there also.

I entered Hunter in the Natural Ability test not really knowing a whole lot about the process and i was probably alot more nervous then he but we made it thru My 12 1/2 month old german shorthair pointer scored a total of 101 out of a possible 112 for a Prize 2 in Natural Abilty.

This is only the begining of our training and still have a ways to go but so far every thing has come together nicely and hopefully a solid training regimin will result in the ultimate hunting partner for years to come. I cannot wait for small game season to begin.

My pup was there today as well. Mike handled Brooke because I was unable to leave our litter of 2 week old pups for that long. Anyway Mike is really not into the NAVHDA thing, but did a great job with Brooke and came home with a 108 prize II. Mike said it was a pleasure meeting you and he told me you have a heck of a nice dog. Karen
