Bumped in to a guy today in an archery shop and I heard him discussing a PIG HUNT him and his wife went on this past winter I believe in Georgia.... Whole thing sounded like a turn off.. BIG TIME...

Evidently the dog's run the pig till tired then they turn the PIT BULL loose.... On this hunt when then caught up to the pig the dog's nearly had it killed..... His wife MADE THEM PROP THE NEARLY DEAD PIG UP SO SHE COULD STICK AN ARROW IN IT AND SAY SHE KILLED IT.... Then she MISSED THE FIRST TWO SHOT'S AT LESS THEN 10 YARD'S, AT A PROPPED UP PIG..... GIVE ME A BREAK..... She then posed for pic's so SHE COULD BRAG.....

I bit my tongue and said nothing...... Does this sound like a fair chase hunt to you?????

People in some rural areas have no respect for animal life, hence the scene you described.
BTW thats not hunting...

Maybe it's me but I just don't look at hunting in that way.... That's why I'm not excited about early bow season..... And there is nothing wrong with it.... But I just want that frost in the air and the smell of autumn in the air , leave's falling in the wood's as if it were snowing.... To me that's what it's all about.... One of the other guy's in the store was rolling his eye's.... Oh well to each his own....

Yea it is a joke.... Kind of like booking a hunt in Illinois with a certain outfitter and driving deer instead of hunting them.
